b-mobile for Blipfoto
Browse, post and get notified on your Blipfoto journal, from your Android phone.
Introduction
b-mobile is a Blipfoto app for Android. It is an open-source project, part of b-oss and led by Ian Stevenson, and is published on the Google Play Store on behalf of the development team by Salient Point Consulting Ltd. It is built on Blipfoto's public API and works with your existing Blipfoto account.
- Browse. Recent, Following, Popular, Milestones, New Blippers and Nearby, plus search and a map of blips.
- Post. Take or choose a photo and publish, even on a poor connection: uploads queue and retry on their own.
- Join in. Star, favourite, comment, reply and follow.
- Stay in touch. Optional notifications for new comments and activity, and a daily reminder to post.
- Your accounts. Sign in with more than one Blipfoto account and switch instantly.
- In control. Hide members you don't want to see, and report anything that breaks the rules.
Free. b-mobile is completely free to use, with no ads and no in-app purchases. It works with your existing Blipfoto account, whatever kind it is; any paid Blipfoto features are separate from this app.
Limitations. Images are shown at standard size. Extra images and full-size (original) downloads are not available to apps using Blipfoto's API, so b-mobile can't show or save them. You can download the display-size photo of your own entries.
